I am Elda Celina
I recognize how difficult is for me to talk about myself, I usually let the photos talk by themselves. However, I understand the curiosity you may feel to know who is behind the lens of that photo that connects with you, that makes you feel in another place, makes you laugh, informs you or that you simply like to see.

Who I am
My name is Elda Celina, I´m the daughter of Pippo Cilia and Maria Mercedes Porras, sister of Nunziatina and Giovanni, Marc’s aunt and Xavi’s sister-in-law.
My relationship with photography began in 2011, after the death of my Father and a personal event that moved me a lot; my brothers (my angels) give me a Nikon D90. At that time, I lived in the city of Maracay and I enrolled in the photography school of Roberto Mata in Caracas. Let’s say that the study and the practices became a kind of Therapy, however at that time I didn’t think to take it as a job.
I have always been connected to photography, in one way or another, in my family’s birthday, some friends, brands of well-known people, an accessory brand that I owned (from 2013 to 2015), and more, but in my mind there was that chip that it was very difficult to make a living from it.

Recently
Over the years, and especially from 2020, I understood that you must love what you do for two fundamental things: firstly, because we spend most of our time in our work, so life is a thousand times better if you have fun working. Secondly, because when we do something we don’t like, we lose energy, we lose enthusiasm, love to things, we get depressed, we disconnect from our essence and all that is reflected in all areas of our life.
Anyway, I want you to know that I love this art form, which I already decided to breathe it every day and share it with you. I also want you to know that I love spontaneous and real photography, the one that does not have pose, the creative. I love inventing and composing. What else can I add? …I know: I also love natural light.
